This season marks Jeff’s tenth season with the Sabres, and fourth in his current role of Administrative Assistant Coach. He joined the team in 1992 as the club’s Media Relations Assistant and has consistently worked his way up the ranks as he held the positions of Director of Public Relations and Director of Team Operations before moving into his current position. Before joining the Sabres, Holbrook was with the Rochester Americans for five seasons.
As the teams’ Administrative Assistant Coach, Jeff is responsible for all the video editing and analization of games, as well as prescouting each opponent. He is also involved in various other hockey department issues, including organizing travel schedules and statisical analysis. Jeff received his Bachelors Degree in Communications in 1988 from St. John Fisher College and was named Who’s Who Among College Students. His outstanding collegiate career was highlighted by being selected a three-time football All-American at wide receiver and named 1986 Offensive Player of the Year by the National Collegiate Football Association. Holbrook was inducted into the St. John Fisher College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the University at Buffalo. Jeff and his wife Michele, reside in Williamsville, New York, with their daughter Findlay (2).
